Barcelona is located on the Mediterranean coast in the north of Spain and is without a doubt the most cosmopolitan and modern city in Spain. The city has one and a half million inhabitants and is the capital of Catalonia. Architecture, history, tradition, culture, sports, a vibrant nightlife and gastronomy are some keywords that characterize the city. All these features are an ideal starting point for a varied stay!
There are many options for transporting you to Barcelona. The airport is a fairly short distance from the city and makes everything easily accessible. In addition, there are many trendy and design hotels where you can relax. And there is a solution for almost every budget.

ENVIRONMENT - CITY
Barcelona is pre-eminently the city where sports are great. Of course we immediately think of the football club FC Barcelona, but under the same name there are various other top sports to be seen. For example basketball, water polo and volleyball. And what about the 1992 Olympic Games that were held here. And because of its location by the sea, all water sports are very easy to practice. But Barcelona also offers a place for culture and special architecture. Everywhere beautiful squares, nice bars and special restaurants. And then we have not even mentioned the many shops.

For example, a hotel situated in a quiet yet practical location between Ciutadella Park and the beaches and restaurants surrounding the Port Olímpic. With the nearby metro, the lively and cultural center of Barcelona can be reached in just 10 minutes. The sandy beach of Bogatell (full of beach bars and luxury bars) and clubs around Port Olímpic are just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

PROGRAM
The city offers many possibilities, whereby we have opted for a sporty approach with a pinch of culture. For example, you can fly to Barcelona with an early flight and then ride a luxury coach to Parc Güel. There you can see everything about Gaudi and enjoy a piece of special architecture. Then there are bicycles ready for the group and we, together with a Dutch-speaking guide, ride a route along various sights. Fortunately, the route is predominantly 'down' and that is much more comfortable than uphill. The end point of the bike tour is the old port of Barcelona where a delicious tapas lunch is ready. And everyone accepts that. Lots of different dishes, something for everyone. Just relax in a gentle sun.
After lunch, the first, more sporty, activity follows. A large catamaran is waiting for the group to take a trip along the coast of Barcelona. You can help, but you don't have to. In this way we see the city from a completely different side; the sea.
This is followed by a beach program for the guests. There are several boats ready for sailing or kayaking. And to compete, we can also play a game of beach volleyball. Sunbeds are available for guests who don't feel like being active. The bar is never far away. Tasty cool drinks and various snacks are ready to keep everyone 'fit'. Thus, the afternoon passes quickly and the day turns into the early evening.
Before we can continue with the evening program, we first freshen up in the comfortable design hotel room. Shower and just chill in the room. Or just try out the pool. Everything is possible. In Spain people generally eat a little later in the evening, so no rush. As a restaurant we have chosen a traditional Spanish restaurant serving both meat and fish. Together with a delicious glass of wine we wash away the experiences of the day. The Netherlands seems so far away now. For those who still want to get into Barcelona's vibrant nightlife, there is more than enough choice to keep going all night.
The next morning there is not much time to sleep in. The extensive breakfast gives people energy again and that is necessary. First, a business presentation is planned about the plans for the coming year. We do this at a local branch of the brand we represent. The special thing is that this can be combined with a tour and an introduction to colleagues you have not met in person before.
Afterwards there is a farewell lunch in the old Gothic quarter and then it is time to say goodbye to the Spanish colleagues and we go to the airport to fly back to the Netherlands. This trip was a combination of fun, fun, team building, sports, culture and corporate responsibility. A great combination for an attractive price.

The above program gives an impression of the possibilities to go to Barcelona with a group of guests for 3 days. However, this is just one of the many possibilities. Various other programs can be put together and we are happy to do this in consultation with the customer. An extra day can easily be linked to it. There are also various options in terms of budget. This program has an indicative budget of around 700 euros per person (including flights) and based on 30 people. Prices vary per season but do give an indication.
